Request Respondus Activation Code

Respondus allows the creation and management of exams that can be printed on paper or published into an WVU eCampus course. Questions can be imported from plain text files, or Microsoft Word documents if they adhere to a standard format. Textbook publishers often offer test banks to instructors who adopt one of their books for a course. Questions can be exported from Respondus into StudyMate Author or StudyMate Class Server.

To download Respondus, go to eCampus support's Respondus 4.0 webpage. You will need to receive an activation code (password) to activate Respondus.

To request a code, click the Request Code button to submit your request.

Note: Respondus is different than Respondus LockDown Browser. If you need assistance with Respondus Lockdown Browser, submit a request through the Online Testing service.

Any WVU main campus faculty member may request an activation code for Respondus. Graduate Assistants must work with an instructor to receive an activation code.

There is no charge to request or use this service.
