Access and Training for ITS Supported Reporting Systems

Introduction:

Below you will find services to request access or training for MAP reports, Data Miner, Argos, WVU+kc (Kuali) and IDEAS reports.

MAP Reports:

There are many reports available through the MAP system. The reports you can access depend on your permissions in MAP.

Access: Request access through the MAP Account or Access Request service.

Training: Request training through the ITS Training Request service. Additional training materials from the ITS Training Group are available at it.wvu.edu/services/training/map. For troubleshooting, check out the MAP information in the Knowledge Base.

Data Miner:

The Data Miner reporting tool pulls information from MAP.

Access: Request access through the Data Miner Access service.

Training: Request training through the Data Miner Training service. Additional training materials from the ITS Training Group are available at it.wvu.edu/services/training/data-miner. For troubleshooting, check out the Data Reporting information in the Knowledge Base.

Argos:

The Argos reporting tool pulls information from STAR INB, DegreeWorks and other student data sources.

Access: Request access through the Banner Account Request service.

Training: Request training through the ITS Training Request service.

WVU+kc (Kuali) Reports:

There are many reports available through WVU+kc that illustrate the sponsored activity being conducted at WVU.

Access: Most award reports are available to anyone with an active WVU Login account. The majority of proposal and IRB protocol reports are only available to Office of Sponsored Programs and Office of Research Integrity & Compliance staff members.

Training: Training is not required to run reports in WVU+kc. If you need assistance with a report, use the appropriate Data Reporting service.

IDEAS Reports:

There are many reports available through the IDEAS system.

Access: To request access, go to planning.wvu.edu/institutional-research/ideas and click IDEAS Access Form.

Training: In-person training sessions are available throughout the year. For additional training documentation and FAQ, go to planning.wvu.edu/institutional-research/ideas.
