Request a Mountaineer Card Replacement


If your Mountaineer Card is damaged or if it has been lost or stolen, visit a Mountaineer Card Office location:

  • Mountainlair (Next to the Mountainlair Box Office)
    Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
    This office is closed during the Summer.

  • Brooke Tower (Room G49)
    Monday - Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Important: This service is intended to be used on location at these offices. Please create a ticket by clicking Request New Card after you arrive at the Mountaineer Card Office. You will need an active login. If you have not activated your Login account, please go to the website


WVU faculty, staff, students, Mountaineer Temps, retirees, visiting dignitaries and vendors working on campus may request this service.


There is a $30 replacement fee for lost or stolen cards and a $15 replacement fee for broken or damaged cards. Replacement charges for students will be billed to the student's account and can be paid via the STAR Information System. In some instances, damaged cards may be replaced for free if the damage is the result from defective card stock.
