Submit a WVU Internal Grants Application

Overview:

The central university administration generously supports faculty in their roles as scholars and researchers, teachers and service providers through an Internal Grant Applications program.

There is one deadline per semester which will always be on the fifth Monday of the semester. Travel/development has a fall and spring deadline. All other applications are due on the spring deadline.

How to submit an application to the WVU Internal Grants program:

Applications to the Research and Scholarship Advancement, Grants for Community Engagement and Faculty Travel/Development programs must be submitted via the WVU+kc (Kuali) electronic research administration tool.

Use your WVU Login username and password to login to WVU+kc at kc.wvu.edu and then click the Create Internal Grant link from the Internal Grants menu bar. Complete the application form and submit.

All applications must be received electronically by the Research Office by 11:59 p.m. on the day of the deadline. Hard copies will NOT be accepted under any circumstances.

Note: Applications to the Academic Conference Grants program must be submitted using an online application form. Progress will not be saved for the Academic Conference Grants online form, so do not complete the application until ready to submit.
