Use MIX Email with Windows Outlook Client

Users with MIX Gmail accounts may wish to use Outlook 2013 with them. The process to set this up requires configuration in Gmail and in Outlook 2013. This also will ONLY support email functionality.

Note: Although Outlook is officially supported with Office 365 for use with accounts, its use with MIX Gmail accounts is on a "best effort" basis. In cases where this is being configured on personally-owned equipment, there may be support limitations.

Gmail/MIX instructions:

    • Device: Windows Computer
  4. Click the Generate button to display your Generated app password. You will need to enter this password later when you configure your Outlook client, so you should copy it.
