WVU STAR Mid Term Grade Tutorial for Faculty

Overview:

This article provides the steps for faculty to enter mid term grades in STAR.

Steps:

  1. Go to portal.wvu.edu.

  2. Enter your Login credentials and click Login.

  3. Click on the STAR link.

  4. Click Faculty.

  5. Click Term Selection.

  6. Using the drop-down arrow, select the appropriate term.

  7. Click Submit.

  8. Click Mid Term Grades.

  9. Using the drop-down arrow, select the appropriate course.

  10. Click Submit.

  11. Note the following:

    • Do not enter anything in the "Last Attend Date" or "Attend Hours" fields.

    • Please submit the grades often. There is a 20 minute time limit.

  12. Click the drop-down to view the grade options.

  13. Select the earned grade.

    • Note: A grade of F entered for non-attendance requires the Last Attend Date field to be entered.

  14. Click Submit.
