How to Access Your Information Technology Bill

Overview:

You can access your Information Technology Bill through https://mypinnaclelogin.com/wvu.

Accessing Your Information Technology Bill:

  1. To view your Information Technology Bill, go to https://mypinnaclelogin.com/wvu.

  2. When the login box appears, enter your Login and password. You will be redirected once authenticated.

    Note: If you didn't have access in the previous billing system, you will receive an error message and will not be able to log into the site. To request access to view bills, please submit a ticket and include the funding you wish to see.

  3. When the Pinnacle screen displays, choose the Billing tab on the far right hand side of the screen and then select Department Billing.

  4. Click the green Search button next to the question mark.

  5. Click the Billing Date you wish to view. Please note the month in the Billing Date column is when charges were posted in MAP. (Example: 01-AUG-2016 would show July 2016 charges.)

At this point, you can choose to do any of the following:

  • Click the green View Report button to create your Departmental Bill.

  • Click Summary By Account to view total amounts for each Expense GL/DSN.

  • Click Individual Bills to view each department's charges separated by Expense GL/DSN in Summary, Non-Usage and/or Usage which can be downloaded in Excel/CSV format by choosing the download arrow icon or by choosing the graph icon to create a custom interactive report.

  • Click Recurring Charges to view recurring charges by department, which can be downloaded in Excel/CSV format by choosing the download arrow icon or by choosing the graph icon to create a custom interactive report.

Login Errors:

If you are getting one of the following errors, make sure your Login password is active and that you are entering it correctly. For Login problems, go to login.wvu.edu.

  • Permission Denied
  • You are not authorized to view this page

If you are getting one of the following errors, try logging into the system from another computer. If you still cannot access the system, call the ITS Service Desk at 304-293-4444.

  • Page cannot be displayed
  • Microsoft VBScript runtime error
