Unable to Open MAP Forms

Overview:

MAP users may need to adjust their Java settings after the migration to Oracle Managed Cloud Services.

How to adjust your settings:

  1. Go to Configure Java to open the Java Control Panel.
    1. Windows 10 users can use the magnifying glass to search for "Configure Java."
    2. Mac users can click the Apple icon, select System preferences and then select Java.
  2. Select the Advanced tab.
  3. Scroll down to Advanced Security Settings.
  4. Uncheck the box next to Use SSL 2.0 compatible ClientHello format.
  5. Make sure the boxes next to TLS1.0, TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 are checked.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Restart the browser you previously tried using with MAP.

If you are still unable to open MAP forms, follow these steps:

  1. Open Internet Explorer and click the gear icon.
  2. Select Internet Options. A new window will open.
  3. Select the Advanced tab. Scroll down and make sure the box next to SSL 3.0 is unchecked. Make sure the boxes next to TLS1.0, TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 are checked.
  4. Close the browser window and restart Internet Explorer.
