Problems with MyMountaineerCard


MyMountaineerCard ( is an easy way for WVU students, faculty and staff to manage their Mountaineer ID card online.

I can't log into MyMountaineerCard.

MyMountaineerCard uses your Login credentials. Double check that you entered your Login username and password correctly. If you are a new student, you must attend New Student Orientation and register for classes before you are given access to the MyMountaineerCard site.

If you think your password may have expired, or if you do not remember your password,

  1. Go to
  2. Click Forgot Password.
  3. Complete the fields as prompted.

Did my photo submission go through?

When the card office rejects a photo submission, an email is sent to you. Photos are rejected if they are too large or not usable. Extra large images may error without an explanation. Photos should be no larger than 1024 x 1024.
