Wrong Term Selected in Parent/Guest Portal

Overview:

Sometimes the Parent/Guest Portal will not prompt you to select a term, and instead uses the last term that was selected.

Problem:

Parents or guests cannot make a payment while logged into the Parent/Guest Portal account in STAR. The system remembers the last term that was selected and does not prompt the user to select a term. 

Solution:

Confirm you have selected the appropriate term for the payment.

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
  2. Click the Select Another Term link.
  3. Select the correct term.

What if the Select Another Term option does not appear?

  1. Exit out of the current page.
  2. Go back to the Proxy Authorizations Menu page.
  3. Choose View Account Summary by Term.
  4. Select the correct term (the term will be above the Description of charges and payments). This will take you to the Make a Payment page.
  5. Click Pay Now at the bottom of the page.
