How to Sign Up for Job Posting Notifications

Overview:

Set up job notifications and preferences in your WVUHire profile.

How to set up your job notifications and preferences in WVUHire:

  1. Log in to WVUHire.

  2. When you are redirected to the WVU job board, click on your name in the upper right hand corner of the page.

  3. Click Profile.

  4. Click the blue box that says Notifications and Preferences in the top left hand corner of the page.

  5. To opt in and receive email notifications from the University about open jobs, click the box that says Send an email notification whenever a new position matching this profile is posted.
    Note: You will receive emails based on the information selected in the Basic Profile Information section. Please fill this out accordingly.

  6. Click the check boxes next to the Job Type, Shift and Schedule options that best match your preferences. You may choose multiple boxes.

  7. The Education Level, Advance Notice, and Date of Availability sections are optional.

  8. Under the Employment Preferences section, you must select at least one option. To do so, click the dropdown box under Job Field.
    Note: The more fields you fill out (i.e. Job Category), the more specific your notifications will be.

  9. Once you have made your selections, click Add to List.

  10. If you would like to start over, you may click Reset. This will clear all of the options selected under Job Field.
