Permission Denied for IT Self Service Site

Overview:

The permission denied error message may be caused by trying to access articles or services that have restricted access or have been removed. We recommend always signing into the IT self service site to ensure you can access everything you should be able to access. View our Log Into the IT Self Service Site article for more information.

Solutions:

Are you receiving a "Do not have permission to access that application" error message?

If you receive an error message when trying to log into the IT Self Service Site, contact the ITS Service Desk at ITSHelp@mail.wvu.edu or call 304-293-4444.

Are you trying to access a favorited service?

If you are receiving the error when you are trying to access a favorited service, the service may have been removed or replaced with another service. Click the Service Directory tab and browse the list of services to see if the favorited service is still listed. If the service is no longer listed, we recommend removing the service from your list of favorites to avoid future confusion. If the service is still listed, please submit a TeamDynamix Application Request to report this error to the administrators.
