Tags student

To support students in the online learning environment, ITS is using the Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) platform for virtual computer labs and classrooms. Virtual labs allow students to access software that is usually available in an open computer lab. Use this service to submit a request to access a virtual lab:

  • Virtual Lab - ITS Stats (SPSS, JMP, MATLAB and Mathematica)

View the Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) Labs article for information about accessing WVD labs. Access to a virtual lab is granted about 3 hours after the request is approved.

Note: Access to most virtual computer labs is provided to students who are enrolled in certain courses. Information on access to those labs and available software will be provided by the instructor.

Any WVU student may submit a request.

There is no charge to request or use this service.
