Online Class Registration FAQ

Overview:

Students may view a course catalog, create their class schedules, and alter their registration online.

Refer to the Pre-Registration Priority Dates to see your assigned registration date. You will also receive an email with an assigned time slot. This time slot indicates when you can begin registration on your registration date. The time is randomly assigned and cannot be changed. You can view your registration date and time slot in DegreeWorks. If you don't see your assigned time slot, contact the Office of the University Registrar at registrar@mail.wvu.edu. Refer to the Registrar's Time Ticketing page for more information about registration time slots.

  10. If registration is successful, you will see a green Save Successful message and the Summary Status will change to Registered. No further actions are needed. Your Schedule window will show your registered courses in a calendar view. Click the Schedule Details tab to view more information.

Note: If a registration is unsuccessful, your Summary Status will show an error message and your Action option will change to Remove. If you experience an error message while trying to register, check the Student Registration Issues and Errors article for common errors and their solutions.
