All Roles: Leave Request System or Personal Demographics Not Loading

Overview:

Below are the two most frequent issues you may encounter while accessing the Leave Request System. The steps provided will help you resolve the issue.

Leave Request System not loading:

If you can only see the WVU logo or a red downward arrow next to the Leave Request banner, the Leave Request System is not loading properly.

Note: If the Leave Request link stops loading and the arrow on the top-right side is red, then MAP is down.

There are several solutions you can try if the Leave Request System does not load properly.

  1. Try to access the Leave Request System using a different browser. 
  2. Clear the Flash cache (click here for instructions on clearing Flash cache). Once the cache is cleared, restart your browser and then try to access the Leave Request System.
  3. Try to access the Leave Request System on a different computer.
  4. If none of the solutions above fixed the problem, submit a ticket to the ITS Service Desk. Be prepared to provide the following information:
    • What version of Adobe Flash are you using?
    • What Operating System are you using?

Until the issue is resolved, your Designee or SBA will be able to approve/cancel leave requests for you.

Personal demographics not loading:

If the personal demographic information is not loading, try the following solutions.

  1. Clear the Flash cache and browser cache. For help, view our Clearing Flash Cache article and our Deleting Browser Cache article.
  2. Try to access the Leave Request System using a different browser. 
  3. If none of the solutions above fixed the problem, submit a ticket to the ITS Service Desk. Include in the description a detailed description of the problem and include any steps you have taken to fix it.
