404 File Not Found Error or Problems Exporting From MAP


If you receive a 404 File Not Found error message when trying to export from MAP or paste data into MAP, you may need to adjust your browser settings.

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. In your browser, adjust your settings to add https://mapprod.wvu.edu to your trusted sites. 
  2. You can also turn off the Pop-up Blocker in your Privacy Settings. 
  3. Close your browser and open a new browser window. 
  4. Log into MAP and export a report.
  5. A File download will pop up this time.
