Unable to Log Into eCampus

Use the Login credentials you set at login.wvu.edu to access eCampus.

Can't log into eCampus?

  1. If you can't access a course, check the official start date for the course in STAR. Instructors may open courses up to seven days before the official start date. You will not be able to access a course until it is opened.

  2. Make sure you are using a supported browser to access eCampus.

  3. Make sure your computer and internet browser are configured correctly.

  4. Try clearing your browser cache.

  5. If you recently changed your password, try removing your cached passwords from your browser. (These instructions vary from browser to browser and can be found by searching online.)

  6. Having issues with Duo? Find information help and more information in our Duo Two-Factor Authentication category.

  7. Check the ITS Twitter feed (@WVUITServces) to see if there is a temporary outage for eCampus.

  8. Try logging into the WVU Portal or STAR.

  • If you can log into the WVU Portal or STAR, reset your Login password. This is the only way to synchronize the password with eCampus. After you reset your password, log into eCampus using the new password.

  • If you cannot log into the WVU Portal or STAR, make sure your Login account is active and that you are typing in your password correctly.

Note: If you are an employee without a faculty or student role in STAR and you need to take a training course through eCampus, you will need to submit a ticket or contact the ITS Service Desk at 304-293-4444 to have an eCampus account created.
