Search the IT Self Service Site

Overview:

The search bar in the top right corner of this site searches the Service Catalog and Knowledge Base. To refine your results, click the drop-down arrow next to the globe icon. Select the area you want to search:

  • Service Catalog: Find service pages to submit tickets. See below for more ways to browse the Service Catalog.
  • Knowledge Base: Find information, including FAQs and troubleshooting steps. See below for more ways to browse the Knowledge Base.
  • All: Your search results will include articles and service pages.

You can also search using hashtags. For example, if you want to find articles specific to WVU Tech, try searching #WVUTech followed by your search terms (e.g., #WVUTech printing). 

Can't find an answer?

  • Make sure you are signed in to ITS Self Service site. Some information is restricted to WVU users with an active Login. Check out the Log Into the IT Self Service Site article for more information.
  • If your issue is with a system or application software not related to WVU, try searching an external website. For example, problems with Windows, Office, Outlook or other Microsoft products can be found at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us.
  • Contact the IT Service Desk if you still need help.
