Filelocker

With Filelocker, WVU users can immediately share files with anyone inside or outside the University. It is an ideal solution when files are too large to send through traditional email.

FTP-Depot

Information about FTP-Depot (ftp-depot.wvu.edu) accounts.

Google Drive

With Google Drive, teaching faculty and students have unlimited cloud storage where files can be saved and shared with others. This is the best place for faculty to share files with students, but the files can be shared with anyone having an email account. Access Google Drive by logging into https://drive.google.com using your Login credentials ( https://login.wvu.edu ).

Because information about Google Drive is easily available online, we provide limited information about this application in our Knowledge Base. If you need assistance with Google Drive that is unrelated to access or WVU policies, we suggest browsing the Google Drive Help Center ( https://support.google.com/drive ) or searching online.

When searching, be specific. For example, if you are trying to do something in Google Drive on a mobile device, be sure to include "mobile" or your specific phone in the search. If you cannot find the information you need, try adjusting the keywords you are using in your search.

Network Drive

For departments needing access to a common storage area, space on the WVU Active Directory (WVU-AD) system can be a viable solution. This professionally managed space can be accessed by Windows and Mac systems from on campus, and through the MasterApps system when off campus.

Office 365 OneDrive for Business

OneDrive for Business offers the ability to store files in the cloud, access them from multiple computers, and share them with others. Sign into OneDrive for Business using your Login ( http://login.wvu.edu ) credentials.

Because information about OneDrive for Business is easily available online, we provide limited information about this application in our Knowledge Base. If you need assistance with OneDrive for Business that is unrelated to access or WVU policies, we suggest searching for "onedrive for business" on the Office support website ( https://support.office.com ) or searching online.

When searching, be specific. For example, if you are trying to do learn how to sync your work files, search for "onedrive for business sync files." If you cannot find the information you need, try adjusting the keywords you are using in your search.

Office 365 SharePoint

SharePoint is accessible from anywhere, and allows for collaboration and development of documents, Wikis, discussions, blogs and surveys. It is designed for situations in which work groups require regular access to shared resources, and need capabilities exceeding simple file sharing. Sign into SharePoint using your Login ( https://login.wvu.edu ) credentials.
