OneNote allows you to create, organization and share notes with others. OneNote Class Notebook provides additional features for instructors to create shared notebooks for classwork. Both are included with Office 365. Sign into OneNote and OneNote Class Notebook using your Login ( https://login.wvu.edu ) credentials.

If you need assistance with Office 365 OneNote or OneNote Class Notebook that is unrelated to access or WVU policies, we suggest searching for "office 365 onenote" or "office 365 onenote class notebook" on the Office support website ( https://support.office.com ) or searching online. The "Office 365 OneNote Class Notebook" article contains helpful links for using OneNote for education.

When searching, be specific. For example, if you are trying to learn how to add an Excel spreadsheet to a page in OneNote, search for "add excel spreadsheet to office 365 onenote." If you cannot find the information you need, try adjusting the keywords you are using in your search.

The student email system, referred to as MIX or MIX Gmail, is integrated with Google Mail (Gmail). All MIX email addresses end in @mix.wvu.edu.

Gmail has a lot of great features that we do not cover in our Knowledge Base, because the information is easily available online. If you need assistance with Gmail that is unrelated to access or WVU policies, we suggest browsing the Gmail Help Center's website ( https://support.google.com/mail ) or searching online.

When searching, be specific. For example, if you are trying to do something in Gmail on a mobile device, be sure to include "mobile" or your specific phone in the search. If you cannot find the information you need, try adjusting the keywords you are using in your search.

LISTSERV is an electronic mail management application that makes it possible to create, manage, and control electronic mailing lists.

WVU employees can request access to a retiree email account with an @retiree.wvu.edu suffix. This includes benefits-eligible employees at the Health Sciences Center, and the Beckley and Keyser campuses. This change does not immediately affect current retirees who have University (@mail.wvu.edu or @hsc.wvu.edu) accounts.
